Interactive Communication Skills Workshop Specifically for Aged Care

Overview
A safe space to discuss death and dying. This interactive workshop highlights challenges and concerns in discussing death and dying with teams, residents and families. A scenario based workshop utilising current evidence-based tools.

PaSCE will be charging a non-attendance fee for all events where there has been no notice of cancellation prior to the event. The fee will be the cost of the event for paid events or $20 per person for free events.

Bethesda Health Care’s Metropolitan Palliative Care Consultancy Service (MPaCCS) is a mobile specialist palliative care team, focusing on capacity building of the palliative care sector workforce through training, education, assistance and mentoring where there are currently no specialist palliative care consultation services available for residents or patients, including Residential aged care facilities.

Palliative care education for health professionals, health care workers and palliative care volunteers across WA.

Our events are aimed at increasing knowledge and understanding of palliative care for health professionals caring for any person with a life-limiting illness in all settings.

The education programs are facilitated by project officers in collaboration with expert palliative care clinical providers and health professionals. Tailored education to meet specific requirements is available as we continue to improve and develop our programs to meet the growing demand for palliative and supportive care education.
